Children’s Book Illustrator Wanted!

Posted by

We are looking to add to our team of talented illustrators for one of our children’s book projects.  The chosen artist will need to mimic or enhance the current art style developed.  This book is targeted for both print and mobile devices, which include animation.  While you will not be responsible for animation, to support the animation process, each animating character or object will need to be illustrated in separate layers.  In other words, characters and objects that move will need to be illustrated with their parts (i.e. head, neck, upper arm, lower arm, etc) in separate layers and fully (meaning if a boy is behind a bush such that his legs are not visible, the full boy may still need to be drawn if his animation calls for moving him away from the bush).

Below are project samples for the illustration style:

Illustration File Requirements:
•    Page dimensions:  4096 x 3072 OR 4096 x 4096 @ 300 DPI
•    File format:  Adobe Photoshop

Please send us a link to your portfolio and provide us with your individual page rates.  This is a freelance position.   Note:  While not required, if you are proficient in 2D animation, please let us know.

Thanks,
